This post is another one of those non food related posts but I just had to share. This year I have freelanced for more than six months and become an entrepreneur as well, so I have become very conscious about what I spend the little I have on. I was recently introduced to a relatively new app called 22Seven by the 22Seven team and it made so much sense to me. So I agreed to try it out and share my thoughts with you.
What the 22Seven app does for me? It aggregates all of my financial information and shows me where I am at and essentially what I’m worth in real time, like right this second. How it works is it links all of your online financial accounts; investments, bank accounts, credit and debit cards and breaks it down by categorising all of your transactions.
It shows that I spend too much on food and the convenience that is Woolworths, no surprises that I spend most of my money on food. Last week with the help of the great Svens, the 22Seven support team, I managed to get all of my accounts linked. I struggled with linking my online Computershare account but the Svens helped me get it sorted.
Like me I know some of you may have questions about the safety of giving access to your financial accounts but it’s all secure and still belongs to you (see more about security here). That was the first question I asked the 22Seven team. Having set everything up just based on seeing everything in one place, I’d strongly recommend you have a look at 22Seven here.
My next step is to scrutinise my spending profile and looking for those expenses I didn’t even know I had like unexpected bank charges you know debit order fees.
Let me know what you think of it!
