Tipple Tuesday – Moscow Mule

The weather in Jozi has really picked up this weekend and week, so in celebration on this tipple Tuesday I would like to share one of my favourite cocktails a Moscow Mule!

Stolichnaya Moscow Mule

Stolichnaya Moscow Mule

This Moscow Mule uses the Polish Stolichnaya vodka as the base and I spruce it with some strawberries & mint. Now I haven’t added precise measurements because everyone’s taste is different but this is the way I like it. Served short or long, below is a one drink method that can be multiplied easily into a jug.

  • Stolichnaya
  • Stoney ginger beer
  • Lime wedge
  • Strawberrie quartered
  • Mint for garnish
  • ice cubes

Take one part chilled vodka, squeeze a lime wedge swirl add one strawberry quartered, mint and muddle. Top with 4 parts Ginger Beer and ice cubes. You can opt to not muddle the strawberries and just add them as garnish. After some time in the mule they’re very tasty.
