Thank you, all will be well!

My Dr had called me at the end of last week and told me that the procedure was indeed successful. Furthermore the cells removed were tested and are low grade abnormal cells, on the scale of abnormal to cancerous this is a good result.

The next step is focusing on recovery, full recovery of the affected cervical area is 4 to 6 weeks. But I can get back to running later this week already. I have the Soweto Marathon 10k in November to look forward to, so need to start training. I also headed to one meeting on Friday, because time waits for no one but the strain of the drive in traffic did leave me in pain on Friday night. The weekend has been good although I didn’t do any driving, I look forward to getting back into the swing of things this week.

Thank you to everyone who had me in their thoughts & continue to hold me in their thoughts. I am so grateful for the friends and strangers who shared their love, thoughts and time with me when I was most vulnerable & had this to carry. Thank you for sharing the load!

Thanks to the women who shared their own story with me, I hope this is the beginning of continued sharing & uplifting each other in times of need. We are not alone!
